Christine Woods is a Fitness Expert and Lifestyle Coach who enjoys sharing with clients on how to live healthier, happier, more active and fulfilling lives through sustainable lifestyle change. Christine began her more than 25 years’ professional experience as an AFAA group exercise instructor and personal trainer. After receiving her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, she worked in both inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist.

She has spent the last 17 years in higher education as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Kinesiology at Towson University and working at the Towson University Wellness Center, developing exercise programs for clients ranging in fitness level and medical condition.

As an educator, Christine also works for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Athletic and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), providing fitness instructor training through live workshops. As an athlete, Christine is a professional natural body builder, who enjoys showing others that transformation (whether physical, mental, spiritual etc.) can be made, if, you are committed to the process and ready to learn.

As a mother of 2, and mom of a daughter with Type 1 diabetes, Christine lives each day, mindful of the potential impact lifestyle can have on health especially when health is already compromised. “Poorly controlled diet and lack of exercise can be devastating,” says Woods. “What I am teaching my daughter and what I teach my clients are specific strategies for life-changing results”.

Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in exercise physiology. Certifications: ACSM-CEP, NSCA-CSCS, AFAA-GFI, Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified.
