Dorette Nysewander, EdD, “DrD” has been involved executive roles for over 30 years working with multiple levels of leadership in corporations, communities and governments over 4 continents. Through public and private partnerships DrD continues to lead accomplished workforce teams, creates standard operating procedures, develops/implements health and wellness initiatives worldwide. She has designed curriculum/trainings for the needs of Fortune 500 Companies, Physical Leaders/Trainers of Morale Welfare and Recreation, the U.S. Armed Services and facilitated or consulted on several projects for industry and government.

As a researcher, writer & adjunct professor for Kaplan University, now called Purdue University Global, she has developed forward thinking curriculum to integrate academia with relevant business needs of Trade & Community Organizations, Hospitality Industries, Medical Operations & Governments.

DrD has extensive experience in change management, health behaviors, leadership coaching, and teaching on primary, secondary, collegiate levels. Having given thousands of presentations, she recognizes that facilitating trainings and coaching sessions requires mastery of pedagogy & andragogy—teaching effective strategies for all age learners. DrD is approved by the American Psychological Association and the Consulting Psychologists press to consult and coach using multiple psychological instruments. She is certified in Mental Health First Aid, Time to Teach – Center for Teacher Effectiveness Differentiated Instruction, while having been a Master Certification Specialist and Consultant for the AFAA organization creating the Basic Exercise Standards & Guidelines for safety since 1985. In executive roles for the YMCA and Johnson & Johnson, she standardized innovative programming for clients, driving down health care costs and increasing employee engagement through health and wellness initiatives.

As the Former Executive Director, she established the First Coast Worksite Wellness Council as a non-profit organization providing companies with evidence-based wellness strategies and comprehensive solutions for start-up and expanding programs. DrD’s innovative kinesthetic training style fosters a collaborative environment that leads to organizational rapid and advantageous decision-making. Bottom line: Mission Driven Results.
