Wellness Perspectives (On-Site)

Description

Overview: Participants will learn perspectives of wellness and the importance to self, department and well-being through effective leadership. Participants will practice mindfulness-based stress relaxation [MBSR] techniques and construct a think project to improve a population perspective of unwell to well. Resources utilized in current wellness programs will be presented demonstrating a risk vs benefit relationship, organizational productivity and workforce satisfaction.

  • Understand the theory and practice of wellness.
  • Learn how to manage behavior change and goal setting within an organization.
